Everyone has their own comfort food which are able to improve negative emotion, releasing emotional stress and getting spirit consolation. My comfort food (processed meat) unfortunately became the A class of carcinogenic to be issued by World Health Organization in October, 2015. I was very shocked when I heard the news from TV. I totally enjoy eating my comfort food since my childhood. It is difficult to digest the bad news. Therefore, I take a series of comfort food photo such as hotdog, noodle with egg and luncheon meat, bacon roll with enoki mushroom and hamburger in which beside with processed meat photos shot by polaroid camera for expressing unbelievable news - uncomfortable food.

This project won the Excellent (Series Category) in the “Photoeat” Photo Competition held by The 4th Hong Kong International Photo Festival, Honorable Mention in Deeper Perspective at 2016 International Photo Award Competition, the finalist(Photography) of 2016 London International Creative Competition and 2nd place - Merit of Excellence and Honorable mention in the 10th International Color Awards Competition, 3rd place winner in Open Theme category at 2017 Fine Art Photgraphy Awards, Silver award in Food category at Prix de la Photographie Paris (PX3 2017) and Bronze award (Still Life) in Fine Art at 2017 Moscow International Foto Awards Competition. (MIFA).

每人都有屬於自己的快樂食物，它能改善情緒、釋放壓力、提升愉悅感及得到慰藉。2015年世界衛生組織發佈了一項有關於這些食物的致癌級別，她們不幸地與一級致癌物扯上關係。我從電視上得悉此消息後，感到震驚，難以釋懷，由於這些食物陪伴我長大及持續進食。因此我計劃拍攝這輯系列作品包括：餐蛋面、熱狗、金姑煙肉卷和火腿扒漢堡並特別配上即影即有相片描繪這些致癌的加工肉類，作為表達對此難以置信的訊息。

這輯作品分別獲得第四屆香港國際攝影節舉辦的「拍住食攝影比賽」優異獎、2016國際攝影獎項比賽(IPA)之深入觀點嘉許獎、入選2016倫敦國際創意比賽(LICC)之攝影作品、第十屆國際彩色攝影獎項(COLOR AWARDS)之二等獎及嘉許獎、2017藝術攝影比賽(FAPA)公開題材組別獲得第三名、2017法國巴黎攝影比賽(PX3)食物組別獲得銀獎與及2017莫斯科國際攝影比賽(MIFA)藝術組別靜物攝影獲得銅獎。
